Check tracking and permissions

If automatic trips are missing, open LogMetric and check Settings → Automatic Tracking. Its switch must be on.

Under Settings → Permissions, check that Location Services are available, location access is Always, and Motion & Fitness is allowed. Keep Precise Location on for accuracy. After granting access, return and enable automatic tracking again.

Follow the permission and denied-access steps if a setting is missing. Notifications control alerts and are optional for recording.

Reopen the app before driving

If you swiped LogMetric away, reopen it before the next drive and leave it running in the background. Check tracking again after changing iPhone permissions.

For a trip you want to control yourself, start a manual recording. Automatic detection depends on motion and location evidence, so every journey may not be detected.

Check the current trip and filters

Open Trips and look for a current recording or a trip still finishing. If a recording remains active after you have parked, tap Stop on its card and allow it to finish saving.

Select the right month and All classifications. A trip can be hidden by a filter or filed in another month. Understanding the Trips screen explains its status and controls.

Review gaps or incorrect details

Open the trip and compare its start, end, time and distance with what happened. Location signals can be limited in tunnels, car parks and other obstructed areas. A gap in a recorded route does not establish where the vehicle travelled.

For a recurring problem, include the affected date and time, whether tracking was automatic or manual, and the permission status when you contact support.
